Marvin has over 20 years experience creating and directing education programs that have helped youth change their life trajectories.
As an educator, he specifically has supported low income and immigrant youth fulfill their college aspirations. In addition, he has worked with various constituencies that include university administrators, school teachers, fellow parents, and board members.
Most importantly, Marvin has managed teams to implement enrichment programming, academic tutoring, college preparation, and summer academies to ensure the youth’s success. He is an alumnus and board member of the DOME Project, Inc. and the parent of two primary school children. Marvin holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BA from Wesleyan University.
